A cross between two Philippine natives, this is a very unique hybrid. Being one of the fly pollinated orchid species, the flowers are fragrant but not exactly pleasant. This hybrid is one of the more mild scented of the Bulbophyllum genus, and not too terribly offensive to the senses. Like most Bulbophyllum, they like to stay a little more damp than other orchids- otherwise they are a very resilient and adaptable species.
